About me
My name is Mary Ann, and I’m a professional tattoo artist dedicated to crafting timeless, custom tattoos that blend artistic expression with personal stories. Building on a background in American Traditional tattooing, I now specialize in fine line black and gray designs, using dotwork techniques to create unique pieces that harmonize with your body and bring your vision to life.
My Story
My journey into tattooing began in 2021, but the art has been a part of my life since childhood. Growing up in my dad's studio in the US, I was deeply inspired by the craft and its unique atmosphere. After completing my master studies, I found my way back to my roots. I began my path as a tattoo artist, eventually opening Tattoo Garden in Mainz, Germany with my colleague in 2024. As a second-generation tattoo artist, I’m proud to carry on this legacy.
My Style
My style focuses on fine line, geometric, and ornamental tattoos, using black and gray shading to create clean, detailed designs. I incorporate dotwork and would love to add bold lines as well to add texture and depth, ensuring each piece flows naturally with the body and offers a timeless, refined look.
